This position is responsible for managing work center inventory efficiently to ensure a smooth production flow in the designated work center.Please note: This position requires 100% in-office presence in our Jacksonville, FL offices and does not offer remote work.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the receipt of incoming parts including bin items, job-issued materials from the materials team, and manufactured parts from the fabrication team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and condition of materials upon delivery to the work centerMonitor stock levels for Kanban-managed and bin-managed inventories, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy between physical and system inventoriesReceive manufactured parts from fabrication teams and store them appropriately to support production schedulesIssue manufactured parts to specific jobs within the ERP system as requiredCoordinate with materials teams to ensure issued materials are received on job start dates and staged for production useManage work center Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) in coordination with the RMA coordinator and materials team to streamline material demand signalsReview daily fabricated parts reports and collaborate with the fabrication scheduler and supervisor to address any potential schedule risksMaintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactionsFollow established safety guidelines and protocolsThe candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environmentExperience with ERP systems preferred; INFOR/SyteLine experience is a plusStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient material flow within the work centerFlexibility to adapt to changing production demands, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teamsAbility to manage multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailDemonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organizationCompensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
