Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – In-Home Pediatric ABA Therapy

$22.00–$28.00 per hour | Part-time, afternoon hours | In-home, serving Murphy, Andrews, Marble, Hayesville, and Brasstown, NC

Blossom ABA Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — or an exam-ready candidate who has completed the 40-hour RBT training and has hands-on ABA experience — to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, under the supervision of a licensed BCBA.

All clients are located in North Carolina (Cherokee and Clay counties). Your RBT certification is national, so techs living just across the line in Blairsville or Hiawassee, GA are welcome to apply — the caseload is an easy commute from the tri-state corner.

What you'll do

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to children with autism in home settings

• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) written by your supervising BCBA

• Run skill acquisition programs for communication, social, and daily living skills

• Collect accurate session data and document client progress on time

• Respond to challenging behavior using approved, evidence-based procedures

• Build positive, professional relationships with families and your clinical team

Requirements — please apply only if these describe you

• Active RBT certification through the BACB, or completed 40-hour RBT training and ready to sit for the exam

• Hands-on experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism (direct 1:1 experience, not observation only)

• Weekday afternoon availability

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license — sessions are in client homes across Murphy, Andrews, Marble, Hayesville, and Brasstown, NC

• Able to complete background clearances required for working with children

• Physically able to sit on the floor, kneel, move quickly, and safely respond to challenging behavior

Pay and perks

• $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and certification status

• Consistent afternoon caseload with local placements to keep mountain drive time reasonable

• Clear advancement pathway in ABA, including support toward BCBA certification
