Must-Have: Able to set up sterile tables and scrub for coronary angiograms/interventions, STEMIs, peripheral angiograms/interventions, and thrombectomies. Competent in all access site management (groin/radial/drains). Knowledge and understanding of atherectomy devices, as well as Impella and IABP skills.

Description: Profile review required. The unit manager will conduct a phone interview. Client badge is required for this assignment and is not provided. The facility has 3 suites/labs and averages 5-10 cases per day. Scrubbing all cases tableside with the physician is the primary responsibility. The technologist could be asked to circulate cases as well. Groin management experience is necessary. The position involves working with both PCI/Diagnostic Cath's and Device Implants. Peripheral and interventional procedures such as IVC Filters will also be performed. The equipment used includes McKesson and GE equipment. The on-call requirement is every 4th day and every 4th weekend. Call begins at the end of the shift. The technologist will be responsible for 1-2 weeknight calls and is expected to respond within 20 minutes. Floating requirements do not apply. Scrubs will be supplied by the department. Mandatory call includes 1 major holiday and holiday weekend per year. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment. Charting will be performed using MEDITECH.
