About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in Clarksville, Tennessee. This position involves operating forklifts to support warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials. The ideal candidate will ensure safety compliance, accurate inventory tracking, and proper handling of shipments and hazardous waste materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including clamp attachments, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
• Pack and unpack shipments, label and sort incoming and outgoing items
• Relocate items within the warehouse or manufacturing environment as needed
• Track inventory of supplies, shipments, and materials accurately
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials in accordance with safety standards
• Ensure proper labeling and sorting of shipments for efficient processing
• Maintain forklift and warehouse equipment, reporting mechanical issues promptly
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during warehouse activities
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts, specifically certified forklift operators (CERTIFIED FORKLIFT, CERT FORKLIFT)
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly
• Knowledge of inventory tracking and shipment labeling procedures
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks involving handling materials
• Capable of operating forklift and related machinery safely and effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling hazardous waste materials
