Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift - 7:00 AM-7:30 PM / 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (3×12s ONLY). Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, every effort will be made to honor the preferred shift, but the right to rotate is reserved if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a CVICU travel/contract nursing assignment at a major main campus hospital. The position operates on a day/night rotating 3×12 schedule and requires a nurse with verified specialty experience in the cardiovascular intensive care unit setting.

Required Experience

• Must have a minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable within one location, but combined experience is acceptable).
• Must have 18 months of recent CVICU experience - travel experience will suffice.

Required Skills

• ECG rhythm recognition proficiency (assessment completed during orientation; acceptable score required)
• Proficiency demonstrated via safeMedicate assessment (completed during orientation; acceptable score required)

Education Requirements

• Must possess a permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state license - must be in hand at time of assignment.
• AHA or client BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Traveler must work at least every other holiday .

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Failure to achieve an acceptable score may result in contract consequences - confirm details with your recruiter.
