Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, focusing on adult cardiology and interventional procedures. Support patient safety, manage complex clinical cases, and assist with high-risk cardiac interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterizations and related interventions.
• Assist physicians during complex cardiac procedures, including catheter placement and device implantations.
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage responses to procedural complications, and provide post-procedure care.
• Maintain documentation of procedures, patient responses, and clinical findings in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared, sterile, and functioning correctly prior to procedures.
• Educate patients and families on procedure processes, recovery expectations, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current certification in BLS and NRP.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac, ICU, or interventional setting.
• Possess strong skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response.
• Be able to assist with complex cardiovascular procedures and high-risk patient care.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, procedural environment.
