Position Overview Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 (first half paid at 6 months, second half at 1 year) Charge pay: $3.00/hr Differentials: Evenings $1.50/hr; Nights $2.75/hr; Weekends 15%/hr RN loan repayment: $2,000/yr Job Summary Provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act. Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of patients. Coordinates psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure proper care and safety of all patients. Assists other staff and accepts additional assignments for essential patient care and unit responsibilities. Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications. Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift. Requirements Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Training and Experience: Current RI nursing license. Special Qualifications: B.S.N preferred.
