NSK Liberty is seeking a Second Shift T echnician or Technical Specialist with knowledge, skills, and abilities that will serve to carry out the company objectives and the following responsibilities.


WORKING AS A TECHNICIAN OR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST FOR NSK -

• Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout manufacturing plant. Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment and facilities.
• Learn machine troubleshooting techniques both electrical and mechanical.
• Ability to apply and demonstrate electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery electrical control equipment and circuitry.
• Uses machine troubleshooting techniques/knowledge to repair minor machine conditions under supervision.
• Learns central systems, their functions and how they integrate with operations.
• Monitors and tests equipment to identify and diagnose and repair malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of central systems.
• Repairs and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
• Reads and understands mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints. Identifies parts/components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and can explain functions of components.
• Maintains neat, organized routing of wiring and follows standards of good workmanship when routing wiring and mounting components.
• Able to pull prints, identify and request components.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Work in a safe, responsible manner complying with all Safety and Lockout/Tagout Procedures.

Experience / Requirements

Required:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:


One to three years experience with troubleshooting, set-up, change-over, maintenance, or repair of CNC equipment and robotics.
