Maintenance Technician W/Injection Molding Experience-1st Shift

Allegiance Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with Injection Molding experience to join a growing manufacturing team in Gastonia, NC. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and minimizing production downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair molding machines, robots, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and related equipment.
• Perform machine setups and assist with mold changes as needed.
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Work closely with production and process technicians to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist on other shifts when needed to support production requirements.

Qualifications

• 15 years of maintenance experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
