PSC Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Fairhope, Alabama Patient Service Center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service. Monday–Friday 8 am–1 pm with rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain specimen logs
- Enter patient information and process billing with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist with administrative duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
