Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships; follow up with customers as needed.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate insurance and financial products and services.
• Collaborate with the agent to establish and meet marketing and sales goals.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with total commitment to success every day.

As an Agent Team Member, You Will Receive:

Requirements:

• Property & Casualty License required
• Life & Health License preferred (must be able to obtain within 90 days)
• Ethical and honest with a strong sense of integrity
• Sales experience preferred (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing)
• Interest and aptitude in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and listening
• People-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
• Comfortable making presentations to potential clients
• Ability to assess client needs and conduct effective interviews
• Enthusiasm for the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risk, recover from the unexpected, and achieve their dreams
• Knowledge of financial services products

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. Employees of a State Farm agent are not employees of State Farm.
