IMC RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 Nights, 1900p - 0730a. Requires 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week block.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IMC RN to provide high acuity care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role involves a mixture of critical care management and monitoring, assisting in various procedures, and delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and para/thoracentesis.
• Manage bedside hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, chemotherapy, and IVIG therapies.
• Conduct cardioversion and administer adenosine as necessary.
• Perform tracheostomy exchanges and bronchial procedures with secure airway management.
• Provide care to patients receiving ICU step-down services and those requiring ICU level care.
• Monitor patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD and respiratory failure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in IMC or ICU settings.
• Active RN License in Maryland or Compact License.
• Current BLS and CPI certifications. ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Skills in managing dysrhythmias, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients.
• Ability to float within skillset as required.
