RN Clinical Manager ( Pediatric Team)

Our employees make all the difference in our success!The Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day triage of the pediatric Team activities of maintaining compliance and quality for pediatric patients, assuring timely admissions, assigning patients to the appropriate team members and monitoring patient care as ordered on the interdisciplinary plan of care. The Clinical Manager conducts the IDT meetings and supervises and supports clinical staff through evaluation and field supervisory visits and assures ongoing development of the teams’ clinical skills. The Clinical Manager will assure quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations, CHAP accreditation standards, and the organization’s policies and procedures.Experience RequirementsThe Pediatric Clinical Manager must have at least one year of Hospice/Home Health experience. A minimum of two years of leadership experience preferred, at least four years of medical surgical or oncology preferred, and must have a minimum of two years of pediatric clinical experience.Education Requirements:The Pediatric Clinical Manager must have at least a RN from a NLN accredited nursing program. A BSN is preferred.Required Certificates and/or Licenses:The Pediatric Clinical Manager must have nursing licensure from all three jurisdictions for medical practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia or within 6 months of hire into the role.The Pediatric Clinical Manager must also have valid Pediatric BLS/CPR Training.Overall Skills:The ability to demonstrate superlative oral and written communication skills as well as ability to organize and manage projects within defined timeframe and budget; work both independently and as part of a team; demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative; demonstrate organizational skills with ability to delegate and follow up; manage multiple tasks and stressful situations with a positive attitude; demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail; perform a thorough nursing assessment and maintain appropriate task-management.Supervisory Responsibilities:The Pediatric Clinical Manager is responsible for supervising all applicable clinical staff, food and nutrition staff, and maintenance/housekeeping staff.Experience Requirements:The Pediatric Clinical Manager must have at least one year of Hospice/Home Health experience. The noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate. The environmental conditions are that of what is to be expected in a temperature-controlled building.
