Nurse Practitioner (Clinical Practice Manager)

Supervisory Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Clinic Practice Manager

The Supervisory APN Clinic Practice Manager practices in the Primary Care Division. They provide a full range of services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and advancing the Veterans Affairs (VA) mission. The Supervisory APN executes leadership that is characterized by substantial and continuous responsibility and accountability for population groups or integrated programs and influence the organization's mission and health care. The NP provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management of a clinic including supervision of licensed practitioners. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsible and accountable for the operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other Supervisory APNs as needed.
Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, and development of staff.
Evaluate individual staff performance.
Function as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
Influence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.
Engages in professional organizations to enhance leadership and career growth.
Adhere to ethical principles in decision-making, fostering accountability at personal, organizational, and staff levels.

Pay:

Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Paid Time Off:

50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)

Licensure:

1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

Monday-Friday 0730-1600 or 0800-1630
