• Location: Hanover, PA (17331) - Pennsylvania locum tenens opportunity
• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department (ED)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (8-hour nights); schedule 5 days on / 5 days off (minimum availability: 2-3 days per week)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine OR a minimum of 5 years full-time Emergency Medicine experience (?4,000 clinical hours) with an annual ED volume of at least 15,000 patients
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and treating ?1,000 emergency department cases in the last 2 years
• MD or DO degree; current, active, and unrestricted medical license
• Proficiency in emergency procedures including moderate sedation, central line placement, bedside ultrasound, nasotracheal and rapid sequence intubation, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, minor laceration repair, and splinting
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience required (locum tenens/ED physician experience preferred)

• Deliver comprehensive emergency care to adult and pediatric patients during night shifts in a busy hospital ED
• Perform a broad range of emergency procedures as clinically indicated
• Collaborate closely with a fully staffed nursing team and consult services including ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, and Cardiology/Cath Lab
• Utilize Tele-Stroke services and coordinate care for patients requiring ICU or pediatric admission
• Ensure smooth transitions of care during shift changes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
