NP/PA - Vascular Surgery - Grand Rapids, MI

Corewell Health Vascular Surgery is recruiting a highly motivated, full‑time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (1.0 FTE) to join our dynamic Vascular Surgery team at Butterworth Hospital. This role begins as a primarily inpatient position on a 24/7 academic vascular service, with the opportunity to grow into a hybrid inpatient/outpatient role over time. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including rounding on admitted patients, discharge planning, assessment and management of critically ill patients, and care coordination. Perform first evaluation and treatment planning of vascular surgery patients. Manage postoperative vascular surgical patients. Collaborate with physicians, fellows, residents, and all members of the care team to provide evidence‑based, collaborative patient care. Participate in patient‑care activities on a 24/7 inpatient service; may assist in the operating room as requested. Anticipated Schedule 12‑hour day shifts Rotating night shift and Saturday coverage Coverage shared with residents and fellows on the academic team Candidates with scheduling flexibility are preferred Advanced Practice RN applicants must have RNFA certification and prior OR experience Preferred Candidates Previous vascular, hospitalist, or primary care APP experience is preferred; new graduates will also be considered.
