Warehouse OperatorJob Description ***Only qualified candidates located near the 2350 Reeves Road Plainfield Indiana area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***Required Education High School Diploma (HS) or EquivalentRequired Experience Minimum 1 year of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) required Experience operating at least one type of material handling equipment required Experience with Reach Trucks preferred Experience with Counterbalance forklifts preferred Experience with slip and clamp attachments preferred General distribution experience preferredTech Skills Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE) Experience using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Ability to read and interpret distribution documents Basic analytical organizational and prioritization skills Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Soft Skills Strong initiative and drive for results Good verbal communication skills Ability to work under minimal supervision Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail Ability to follow safety requirements and established procedures Ability to maintain a clean neat and orderly work area Ability to work overtime as needed including SaturdaysResponsibilities Safely load and unload products within the distribution center Process customer orders including scanning barcodes picking pallets and labeling pallets Process orders using RF technology with a focus on damage prevention Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using WMS Report discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping and receiving documents Locate and retrieve products Replenish picking locations Follow attendance policies Maintain current status in required training modules Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in standard operating procedures Perform job activities safely and in accordance with established safety requirements Maintain a clean professional work environment Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area Complete Hazmat training when required Perform other duties as assignedPhysical Demands Ability to regularly walk stand stoop kneel balance crouch reach push pull grasp hear twist and lift Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements including handling picking and typing Ability to occasionally climb Ability to lift over 50 pounds in some areas Normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye Sufficient hearing to safely operate in a manufacturing or distribution environment Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to obtain forklift certification Safety shoes and safety vest required
