About This Role The Registered Nurse in the CC General Adult Unit provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. Highlights Location: Belle Mead, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Evening shift What You’ll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred. Experience 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
