Your future role at a glance Location: Frankfort, IN Facility: Wellness Preventative Care Department: Employer Shared Clinics Schedule: Monday 7am-2:30pm, Tuesday 10am-5:30pm, Wednesday 7am-2:30pm, Thursday 10am-5:30pm, Friday 8am-12pm | Flexibility required | 36 hours total How you'll make an impact in this role This position will serve as a dedicated shared wellness clinic location for Clinton County, the City of Frankfort, and Clinton Prairie Schools employees and eligible participants. This position will serve as both a front office and back office Medical Assistant. Assist providers and nurses with patient treatments and clinical procedures while maintaining a sterile and organized examination environment. Conduct patient interviews to document medical histories, chief complaints, and accurate vital signs within electronic health records (EHR). Document real-time provider encounters, including the transcription of diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and follow-up care instructions. Process and track clinical orders for laboratory tests, radiology imaging, and medications as directed by the healthcare provider. Manage essential front-office duties, including check in and out, medical filing, phone triage, and the procurement of clinical supplies to ensure seamless clinic workflow. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
