Job Summary And Qualifications An Ultrasound Technologist at HCA Healthcare performs diagnostic imaging procedures using sound waves to help physicians detect and evaluate internal pathology. This critical role combines technical equipment operation with compassionate patient care in fast-paced hospital or imaging center environments. Core Job Responsibilities Performing Scans Equipment Management Patient Care Assisting Physicians Documentation & Reporting Typical Qualifications & Requirements Education: High School/GED Graduate Certification: (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, and often (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician. Life Support: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
