The Work Develop NC programs for complex aircraft components machined on 4‑ and 5‑axis CNC machines to meet engineering model tolerance requirements. Analyze engineering models to define part configuration through manufacturing process and determine type and sequence of machining operations. Select proper cutters for each operation with knowledge of machining methods specific to titanium, aluminum, and magnesium. Choose NC program options to provide the most efficient machining methods and requirements for each part operation. Test and modify existing NC programs for engineering changes or program improvements. Basic Qualifications Machining experience NC programming experience Model‑based software experience Microsoft Office products experience Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience Associate’s degree plus 4 years experience Catia V5 NC experience Vericut toolpath verification software experience Additional Information Clearance Level: None Schedule for this Position: 4‑x‑10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
