Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion

Nurse Infusion Therapy

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 4 days a week. Every third Saturday required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly. Contract Length: 13 weeks.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience with chemotherapy administration required.
• Current ONS chemotherapy provider card and BLS certification required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Experience with accessing and deaccessing IVADs, PICC lines, and starting peripheral IVs is necessary.
• Experience with Alaris infusion pumps is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, medical infusions, and blood transfusions.
• Manage infusion therapy in an ambulatory setting.
• Perform phlebotomy and access/deaccess IVADs as needed.
• Monitor patients and document care in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Compliance / Notes

RTO not requested at the time of submission will not be approved. Orientation is 1 week; facility-specific forms and competencies will be assigned prior to arrival. Scrubs are any color. Candidates must be separated from their previous facility for 6 or more months and be in good standing to be considered.
