Position Details:

• Facility: BayCare Health System, Interventional Radiology Morton Plant Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital
• Location: Clearwater, Tampa, St. Petersburg, FL
• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: Varying Shifts available
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist Responsibilities :

• The Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist assists radiologist with all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Must obtain Vascular Interventional (VI) Specialty certification within 12 months of employment
• Radiology State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree Radiology
• 1 year Radiology experience; 1 year Vascular Preferred
