Title: Repair Station Technician (Aerospace)

Location: San Fernando Valley
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts; overtime may be required

This position requires the ability to follow Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), technical drawings, electrical schematics, work instructions, and customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform repairs according to Component Maintenance Manuals, work orders, work instructions, teardown reports, and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret aerospace electrical schematics, drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Assemble, repair, and inspect aircraft wiring, electrical components, and wire harnesses.
• Use calibrated wire crimpers, wire strippers, hand tools, fixtures, and specialized tooling.
• Complete electrical installation and repair assignments according to approved procedures.
• Inspect completed work to identify defects, damage, or nonconforming components.
• Document repair findings, work performed, and component condition accurately.
• Report product, process, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with identifying corrective actions and verifying that quality issues have been resolved.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding repair progress and work status.
• Participate in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all quality management system procedures, safety regulations, and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide guidance or assistance to other employees when required.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately three years of related aerospace repair, electrical assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience reading and understanding aerospace electrical schematics.
• Aircraft wire harness assembly or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using calibrated wire crimpers, wire strippers, and other electrical hand tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work orders, and written repair instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during a ten-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 25 to 40 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, fixtures, and repair equipment.
• Ability to perform detailed electrical and mechanical work requiring manual dexterity and visual attention.
