Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist specializing in home infusion services, located in Manlius, NY. The role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Communicate with patients to address questions and provide necessary information.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid New York State pharmacist license.
- Hospital and home infusion pharmacy experience is essential.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with IV compounding is highly desirable.
