From lighting and sound to props and special effects, you'll help create a jaw-dropping experience for our guests. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. THE STARTING RATE: $40.51 / Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Support and uphold the artistic vision of the talent or artist, in line with MGM Resorts and department guidelines Maintain professional relationships with MGM Resorts team members, resident show partners, and visiting talent Perform theatre maintenance, inspections, and repairs as assigned and approved Run cue tracks, including audio, electronics, fly system, follow spot, lighting, carpentry, and props Set up and tear down special events as needed THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required Three (3) years of previous experience working a live show, technical theatre and/or a showroom in a college or resort setting required Experience working with livestock animals preferred Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Free meals in our Excalibur employee dining room Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts At MGM Resorts, we exist to entertain the human race and provide an unforgettable escape.
