Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 26-week teaching hospital assignment.

Details

Radiology department within a 298-bed teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties

26-week assignment with day shift schedule

Two 16-hour shifts per week, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM

Approximately 9 patients per shift

Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never working solo

Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment

Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed

Possible on-call requirements, with after-midnight coverage handled by on-call staff

Requirements

Minimum 2 years current MRI experience required

ARRT (MR) certification required

Active BLS certification (AHA) required

GE equipment experience required

Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed

Must have own vehicle

License required if applicable

Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

Must be willing to work two required holiday blocks: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend

RTO requests must be submitted prior to consideration, with no more than 5 days accepted and none approved after offer

Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
