WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Program Manager, you will:

• Establish program vision, long-range strategies, milestones, performance measures, and success criteria aligned with organizational priorities.
• Ensure development and implementation of policies, standards, procedures, and system enhancements to strengthen management integrity and improve grants processing.
• Apply advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to develop solutions for complex operational and strategic challenges.
• Advise on the development and execution of agreements ensuring that they align with mission objectives, statutory requirements, and customer needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

• Planning, directing, and overseeing complex, cross-organizational grant management programs and initiatives with Department-wide significance.
• Leading cross-cutting administrative and programmatic initiatives related to grants systems, customer engagement, legislative requirements, and enterprise service delivery.
• Conducting authoritative evaluations and analyses of grant management programs and systems to assess effectiveness, efficiency, compliance, and risk.
• Serving as the senior liaison with Federal agencies, grantees, contractors, and external stakeholders to negotiate complex and sensitive issues involving competing interests and operational requirements.

If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
