Physical Therapist

Role: Provides physical therapy treatments to address movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, or disability. Responsibilities Include: Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments. Developing, modifying, and evaluating personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and families. Performing therapy interventions using standard techniques appropriate to each patient's condition. Educating patients, families, and staff on treatment and care needs. Ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning, home instructions, equipment recommendations, and follow-up care. Overseeing activities of support personnel, including assistants and students. Maintaining detailed documentation of patient responses and interventions. Adhering to safety protocols and performing other assigned duties. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field to obtain licensure. State-specific licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment. Ability to stand constantly, lift objects up to 50 lbs, and perform physical activities such as walking, reaching, and bending. Effective communication skills and attention to safety.
