Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / OB Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Schedule: 3x12 Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Weekend coverage includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. At least one holiday shift required during contract.

Highlights:

• Work in a dynamic OB unit with 4 labor beds, 4 triage beds, and 13 obstetric beds
• Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum settings with couplet care
• Epic charting system (preferred experience)
• Flexible contract length available; discuss options during interview
• Scrubs provided by facility
• 48-hour bi-weekly orientation to ensure smooth transition

Requirements:

• Active RN license (State or Compact) required at time of application
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred due to current staffing needs
• Required Certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Preferred Certification: STABLE
• Proficiency in Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and couplet care
• Basic medical-surgical skills for post-hysterectomy patient care
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered with facility-approved documentation)
• Two professional references from supervisory contacts within the past two years required
