Job Opportunity: Reproductive Endocrinologist

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is looking for a board-eligible or certified reproductive endocrinologist. This role requires expertise in assisted reproduction and reproductive endocrinology. The successful candidate will become part of our active clinical program in REI/ART, primarily focusing on clinical responsibilities while also having the chance to engage in research activities. Strong clinical knowledge and technical proficiency are essential. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree and be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. H1B visa sponsorship is available.

• Join a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Clinical duties will comprise approximately 80% of the role, with 20% dedicated to teaching and research.
• Call responsibilities will be shared evenly among all providers.
• Some weekend availability may be required for time-sensitive patient testing and procedures.

Our division collaborates closely with the Magee Women's Research Institute (MWRI), recognized as one of the leading biomedical research institutions in the country. The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is a prominent academic department within the School of Medicine, engaged in clinical practice, research, and training.

The REI Division focuses on research related to fertility and hormonal conditions impacting fertility, providing patients with access to this expertise through various clinics. The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE) is a comprehensive unit that encompasses reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, and andrology.

Additionally, the REI division houses the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and the Reproductive Late-Effects program, which offers long-term care following gonadotoxic therapy. All clinical programs within REI serve as a foundation for research and education, with a strong commitment to training the next generation of REI specialists through our fellowship program.

Providers also collaborate with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, focusing on fertility preservation and conducting clinical and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation.
