Principal Specialist, Metrology Database Coordinator (Onsite)

Responsibilities Coordinate and execute RTX Metrology Operations requirements. Maintain metrology infrastructure to meet development and test requirements. Support AS 9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025 audits, and Government DCMA audits. Work closely with RTX Calibration vendor (Keysight Technologies) and RTX Metrology personnel to ensure compliance with Metrology Command Media for equipment calibration and property controls. Support monthly Metrology Metrics meetings with Database coordinators across RTX. Manage multiple daily issues for equipment calibration and repairs. Qualifications Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance. 3+ years of experience in an engineering environment. 3+ years of experience in database management. Understanding of quality processes leading to successful certification with AS 9100/ISO 9001, ANSI Z540-1, ISO 17025. Database and data analysis skills to ensure accurate metrology support metrics are collected. Preferred Qualifications Current U.S. government‑issued security clearance. Experience with Database Management Systems (RTX systems: SAP or PRISM and ARAMIS). Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
