Housekeeping AttendantThe Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to work with our Housekeeping Team. The Hotel is one of several family-owned businesses under Averill Hospitality.Principle Responsibilities and Position PurposeA housekeeper is responsible for ensuring rooms and other areas of the hotel are kept clean every day while ensuring housekeeping departmental standards are followed. Cleaning includes, but is not limited to, making beds, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided by the hotel are placed at appropriate areas. Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.Use of Maid Cart when cleaning rooms as well as maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.Emptying garbage, removing linens and towel.Remaking bed with fresh linens and restocking room with towels, amenities, etc.Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.Follows departmental policies and procedures.Follows all safety and sanitation policies.Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and AbilityRequirements:Operating Housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, maid cart, etc.Ability to lift 30lbs or more on a regular basis.Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.Must maintain a positive influence in the community and positive relations with area vendors.Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities, exhibits objectivity and openness to other views, welcomes feedback, contributes to building a positive team environment, and prioritizes the team's success above own interests.Quality - Meets productivity standards, completes work promptly, strives to increase productivity, works quickly and efficiently.Guest Service - Responds promptly to guests' needs and takes ownership of the overall guest experience.Professionalism - Respectably approaches others, reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position, accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments.Schedule and BenefitsThe Housekeeping Attendant position is expected to normally keep a 5 day a week schedule, 40 hours per week can be expected, however it can be more or less depending on the business needs of the hotel.
