Field Clinical Specialist, NYC/Long Island - Transcatheter Heart Valve

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Field Clinical Specialist for the NYC/Long Island region to provide clinical training and support for transcatheter heart valve procedures. The role involves traveling within territory, preparing and crimping devices during cases, educating clinical teams on product use, and partnering with sales and clinical leadership to build procedural expertise. An associate degree in nursing or equivalent experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical training on transcatheter heart valve technology to hospital staff and physicians
- Perform valve crimping, case management, and pre/post-case planning for THV procedures
- Develop clinical champions and implement growth strategies within assigned customer accounts
- Conduct device preparation, support physicians during implants, and manage complaint handling
- Partner with sales and clinical teams to plan physician and staff training programs
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum five years medical device, THV/TVAR, cath lab, or acute care clinical experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Extensive travel capability, approximately 60-70% of the time
- Clinical skills in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology strongly preferred
- Technician or nurse-level medical training highly preferred
Compensation: $112,000-$134,000 base (New York City, highly experienced)
