Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

• PRN: Schedule & Required Shifts: Two (2) shifts in a four (4) week Block minimum
• Call for PRN: 1/2x's per month with the following schedule for call:
• MondayFriday: 5:30 PM 7:00 AM
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
• Holidays: 24 hour shift Availability for (1) summer and (1) winter
• Role Overview
• A cardiac cath lab nurse specializes in:
• Assisting with catheterizations
• Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
• Administering medications
• Supporting procedural teams
• Responsibilities
• Patient assessments and care planning
• Medication administration and moderate sedation
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Circulating and scrubbing in EP and invasive procedures
• Patient and family education
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
• One (1) year of CVL RN Experience HIGHLY Preferred
• Active NM or Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire
