Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team committed to providing top-notch patient care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic exams, work closely with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, and be pivotal in helping patients receive the accurate and timely information they deserve.

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of ultrasound studies, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by clearly explaining each step with empathy and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Keep precise documentation of procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical records system
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices to enhance patient care

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Exceptional technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
