ROLE OVERVIEW As an Inventory Buyer, you will manage product availability and optimize critical procurement functions for a prominent national organization. Operating 100% onsite at the Jacksonville, FL location, you will collaborate daily with internal sales teams and external suppliers to keep supply lines fluid. This is a 4-month contract engagement with strong potential for extension, offering a predictable Monday-through-Friday schedule. Your work ensures that product inventory meets demand accurately, timely, and cost-effectively every day. WHAT YOU'LL DO Execute daily purchase orders utilizing system-generated buy guides to maintain precise inventory alignment with market demand. Analyze out-of-stock and over-allocated reports to proactively mitigate supply chain disruptions before they impact sales. Validate order confirmations across pricing, quantity, and freight metrics to protect company cost parameters and compliance. Partner directly with internal sales departments and external logistics providers to orchestrate on-time product delivery and receiving. Maintain critical vendor data within the management system, updating pricing tiers, shipping points, and freight brackets for seamless processing. WHAT YOU BRING 3 to 5 years of professional buying or corporate procurement experience within a high-volume inventory environment. Strong analytical abilities and a proven track record of interpreting data sets to make strategic purchasing decisions. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to seamlessly bridge the gap between sales teams and suppliers. A proactive problem-solving mindset with a demonstrated history of taking total ownership of portfolio outcomes. Technical proficiency in leveraging inventory management systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. COMPENSATION This engagement offers an hourly rate of $28.50 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
