Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Outside B2B Sales Representative specializing in Merchant Services to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will drive business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, presenting tailored merchant solutions, and closing high-value deals. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will enable you to thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise selling environment. What You'll Sell

• Payments in Person: Countertop & wireless terminals (e.g., smart terminals, portable Android POS devices, all-in-one registers, and compact card readers), Mobile POS, and solutions tailored to travel & hospitality
• Phone Payments: Tools that let staff securely close sales over the phone via live card capture, pay-by-link, or IVR
• E-Commerce: Online payment acceptance solutions
• You'll primarily sell to small and local businesses including restaurants, automotive businesses, notaries, medical practices and faith-based organizations — so no two conversations are exactly alike.

What You'll Be Paid

This is a commission-only independent contractor role (1099). Compensation is tied to completed sales and generous recurring account revenue. For each merchant that you sign up, you will receive a commission with a minimum of $350 and a maximum of $1000. For the life of their agreement (3 years with possibility to renew) , you will receive 50% of the residual earnings monthly. Within 3 years, you could be receiving $100,000 in residual earnings from signed merchants.

 

Duties

• Identify and target prospective business clients through warm calling, networking, and market research to generate new sales opportunities
• Conduct engaging presentations of merchant services solutions that align with client needs, emphasizing value propositions and technical benefits
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details to close sales efficiently while maintaining profitability
• Manage ongoing client relationships by providing exceptional account management, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying upselling opportunities
• Utilize CRM systems such as HubSpot to track leads, manage customer data, and monitor sales pipeline progress
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance outreach efforts and increase lead conversion rates
• Meet or exceed established sales goals by consistently closing deals within a corporate sales environment

Skills

• Proven experience in B2B sales, especially within technology or software sales sectors
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals effectively
• Business development expertise with a focus on expanding client portfolios and market reach
• Proficiency in CRM systems such as HubSpot for managing customer accounts and sales activities
• Excellent communication skills for client relationship management and effective deal negotiation
• Technical sales experience that demonstrates understanding of merchant services technology solutions
• Ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to craft compelling proposals
• Demonstrated success in managing customer accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and enterprise selling strategies
• Familiarity with sales management systems proficiency and software tools used in corporate sales environments
• Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, motivate peers, and drive results through strategic planning
