Cook/Dietary Aide

Pay Rate: $19.00 Cook/Dietary Aide - Day Shift If you find joy in cooking for others, we would love to meet you! At The Meadows of Wadena, we offer hands-on training and support to help you build a rewarding career as a Cook/Dietary Aide making a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors who call our community home.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals in a timely manner.
• Assist with meal preparation, distribution, and dining room set-up and clean-up.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable kitchen.
• Assuring appropriate food safety and sanitation techniques are utilized.

Shifts/Hours

• 6:30a 3:00p, 64-80 hours bi-weekly, including every other weekend

- We are excited to offer paid time off and a 403b retirement plan open to all employees, both effective immediately upon hire. Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred, but if you aren't afraid to jump in, work hard, and learn as you go, we'd love to hear from you! We are willing to train you to be successful in this entry level position.
• In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• All employees must pass a criminal background study as determined solely by the State of Minnesota. We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
