Custodial Worker

Perform cleaning duties of classrooms, restrooms, shower and locker rooms, offices and other areas of the building. Lock and unlock building to provide security and entry of groups using the building. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies. Vacuum rugs, mop, sweep, wax floors, clean inside windows, clean boards, dust and wash walls and furniture. Be able to work with others. Report burned out lights. Perform minor repairs such as light fixtures, desks. Perform outside cleaning such as snow shoveling, grass cutting, window cleaning. Operate mechanized custodial equipment such as hand scrubbers, carpet shampooers $15.00 per hour if hired permanently, rate increases to $18.24/hour.
