Talent Acquisition Specialist

*Overview: *
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a large, established Aerospace & Defense organization. This role is ideal for a driven recruiter with a strong sense of urgency, proven ability to manage high-volume requisitions, and the confidence to partner with - and hold - hiring managers accountable throughout the hiring process.
*Schedule:* 9/80 work schedule (80 hours over 9 days) - enjoy every other Friday off.
*Responsibilities*

* Own full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles, including Engineering, Assembly, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management
* Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements, set expectations, and drive efficient hiring decisions
* Manage a high-volume requisition load (100+ roles distributed across the recruiting team) while maintaining quality and speed
* Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent
* Lead candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes
* Ensure a strong, consistent candidate experience from initial outreach through offer
* Utilize Workday and other recruiting tools to track pipeline activity and maintain accurate candidate data
* Prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*Qualifications*

* 3+ years of corporate full-cycle recruiting experience
* Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders simultaneously
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive accountability with hiring managers
* Experience using ATS platforms (Workday preferred) and various sourcing tools
* Demonstrated ability to attract and engage passive candidates

This is a Contract position based out of Simsbury, CT.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
