Quality Assurance Engineer

To enhance the quality of the Caseware IDEA Windows desktop application, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated tests, while also performing manual testing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and product quality. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for the Caseware IDEA application Evaluate and improve the existing Ranorex-based automation framework and propose alternative automation solutions Perform manual testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing as needed to ensure product quality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Proven experience as an SDET, Automation QA Engineer, or similar quality engineering role Strong programming or scripting skills, preferably in C#, PowerShell, or Python Experience with desktop test automation tools such as Ranorex or similar technologies Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and integrating automated tests into development workflows
