Inventory Specialist

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain logistics.

• Tech-Savvy: strong proficiency with ERP/IMS software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.

• Methodology Expert: Deep understanding of inventory control models (ABC Analysis, FIFO/LIFO, and safety stock calculation).

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to train floor staff, enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), and drive accountability.

• Problem Solver: A sharp analytical mind that loves digging into data to find out why a number doesn't match the physical reality.

Responsibilities

• Process Ownership: Standardizes and enforces the inventory procedures (Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Shipping).

• System Accuracy: Ensures the Inventory Management System (IMS) or ERP accurately reflects physical stock.

• Audit Leadership: Coordinates annual physical counts and establishes the schedule for daily/weekly cycle counts.

• KPI Tracking: Monitors critical inventory metrics such as Inventory Turnover Ratio , Shrinkage Rates , and Order Accuracy .
