This position requires a strong work ethic, time management skills, and an enthusiastic, teachable attitude. Responsibilities Prepare all types of sushi according to recipes and customer specifications. Properly utilize, store, and label food items, and monitor stock. Help develop new sushi menu items within guidelines. Communicate effectively with service staff. Any other related duties as assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications Prior experience with Japanese cuisine and sushi rolling techniques. Strong work ethic and commitment to uncompromising quality. Team-oriented approach and calm demeanor during time-sensitive tasks. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully. Willingness to cross-train into other areas and Happy Day restaurants. Maintain high standards for work areas and appearance. Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to excellence. Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
