This role plays a key part in the Duane Arnold restart, supporting PRA reconstitution, 10 CFR 50.69 implementation, and Risk‑Informed Technical Specifications (RICT) to enable safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation. This is a full‑time, onsite role based at our Jupiter, FL office, supporting the Duane Arnold Energy Center restart. You’ll work closely with a highly collaborative fleet PRA and licensing team and play a visible leadership role mentoring engineers and influencing fleet‑wide risk‑informed applications. Responsibilities Lead modernization of the PRA model to align with current industry and fleet standards, including internal events, flooding, and fire (all‑hazards approach). Develop licensing‑quality PRA inputs supporting 10 CFR 50.69 LAR and Risk‑Informed Technical Specification initiatives. Support NRC audits and Requests for Additional Information (RAIs), ensuring technical rigor and regulatory alignment. Translate complex risk insights into actionable recommendations for plant decisions and long‑term strategy. Ideal Qualifications Extensive experience in PRA modeling and risk‑informed applications within nuclear power. Proven track record delivering licensing‑grade technical products (e.g., LARs, PRA model updates, regulatory submittals). Hands‑on experience with 10 CFR 50.69, RICT, or similar risk‑informed regulatory initiatives. Experience supporting NRC audits, inspections, or RAI responses strongly preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience (technical lead, mentoring, or program ownership). Experience with BWR systems and PRA models preferred.
