Senior Program Analyst

The Senior Program Analyst serves as a senior subject matter expert (SME) within the NIST Program Coordination Office (PCO), providing leadership, analysis, and strategic expertise on critical and emerging technology (CET) programs and initiatives. Major duties include:

• Providing mission-focused advice and expertise to the PCO Director, Director for Policy, Programs, and Planning, and Chief of Staff on critical and emerging technology (CET) programmatic issues.
• Serving as a senior SME on CET matters, including artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, digital ledger technologies, and other emerging technology areas involving NIST, DOC, and national priorities.
• Leading assessments of NIST program content and activities to ensure alignment with national CET priorities.
• Developing strategies for establishing CET programs and integrating CET priorities and initiatives across NIST programs, as appropriate.
• Developing approaches to promote consistent implementation of NIST programs in alignment with DOC and U.S. Government (USG) initiatives and interagency strategies.
• Representing NIST on CET matters with interagency program offices, committees, working groups, and nongovernmental organizations, as appropriate.
• Preparing analyses, briefings, and recommendations for the NIST Director, Associate Directors, and other senior leaders on CET issues, developments, and initiatives with implications for NIST.
