Electrical Controls Engineer
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Controls Engineer for a premier systems integrator specializing in custom-made equipment and conveyor systems for the automotive industry. This role involves the full lifecycle of electrical control systems, from initial design and programming to on-site commissioning and debugging.
Essential Duties
- System Design & Programming: Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC (Mitsubishi, Keyence, AB), HMI (Proface), machine vision, and robot systems (Kawasaki, Fanuc, Denso).
- Project Oversight: Direct and oversee the electrical fabrication and assembly of projects.
- Testing & Debugging: Responsible for powering on equipment, debugging, and completing in-house system trials.
- Customer Collaboration: Work with clients to determine the feasibility of new designs versus modifying existing equipment.
- Installation: Oversee equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites.
Working Hours, Working Style Full-time; On-site with required travel.
Working Location Georgetown, KY (with up to 35% travel).
Salary/Benefit
- Salary: $60,000 – $68,000 per year.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) or an Associate degree with applicable experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with material handling control systems and various PLC/Robot brands.
