School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Tomball, Texas

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in the Tomball, TX area for the upcoming academic year! Support children's communication skills at the primary and elementary level, making a meaningful impact across several school sites. Expect assignments primarily at a single school, with occasional splits between two. You'll be working 40 hours per week with a manageable caseload of around 60 students, collaborating with dedicated multidisciplinary teams.


Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active SLP License in Texas is required
• SLP-CCC preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based experience is a plus
• Willing and able to provide supervision for SLPAs if you hold your CCCs
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple locations (if needed)
• Effective communication with educators, families, and students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans and therapy sessions for students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Supervise SLPAs as needed if holding ASHA CCCs
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and district guidelines
• Travel between assigned schools as required by the caseload
• Support inclusive learning and advocate for student communication needs
