Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Hickory, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Behavioral Health to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive care for patients with mental health disorders in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work flexible hours and may have the option to work 48 hours per week if desired.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to adults with various behavioral health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records using EHR systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues.
• Participate in regular training and remain current with behavioral health practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
• Handle with Care training is a plus, but training will be provided.
