Mechanical Assembler's in Garland!!!

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Schedule: 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM / Monday-Friday

Position Summary

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packaging them according to specifications. This role requires meeting production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and related components following work instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation to build products to specification
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
• Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and reports related to discrepancies or defects
• Perform basic equipment and conveyor maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Inventory tools, parts, and supplies and coordinate with materials handlers for replenishment
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate quality or production issues to supervisors
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a safety-focused attitude
• Support production demands by adhering to scheduled hours, overtime requirements, and assigned break periods
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read measuring tools and follow written instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Must be dependable and maintain good attendance
• Steel toe boots required
